Jason and Elizabeth Waters, alongside their two young sons, are the passionate visionaries behind HomeBase and Sulphur Springs Farm. As a family devoted to sustainable farming, land stewardship, and conservation, they have worked to preserve and enhance this stunning 400-acre estate since acquiring it in 2022. From raising cattle and crops to managing the farm’s woodlands and wetlands, the Waters family’s commitment to responsible agriculture is at the heart of everything they do. The historic Sulphur Springs Farm, located near Tunnel Hill, boasts rich regional heritage dating back to the Civil War.  

HomeBase was previously home to a residential children’s care center and became available after closing its operations in the area. The Waters family saw incredible potential to transform the property into a one-of-a-kind retreat. Today, HomeBase offers guests the perfect setting to reconnect with nature, loved ones, and themselves, with expansive spaces for relaxation, bonding, and exploration.
